A wonderful day of family activities. On the way back to Hungerburg, a sign indicates that the Alpine Zoo is a 20-minute walk away. I don't know how it's calculated, but it's definitely longer: take the funicular down one station instead.

We loved the Innsbruck Card. We stayed for 3 days and bought a 72hour card. We had no need to worry about transport as it was all covered by the card. The value for money was great - we went to Swarovski World on the shuttle bus / to Panorama Tyrol / the Nordkette Cable Car and Fennicular and several times on the Sightseer Hop On Hop Off Bus. Just with these few activities and the transport we are better off with the card. It was easy to use and scanned in easily every time. We were able to activate from the railway station when we arrived which was convenient and she started our time from when our first shuttle left. Well worth using and great value for money.

the journey was easy and modern. the animals were great. we especially enjoyed seeing the bear , elk and birds. well worth seeing.


