I really recommend this trip! Mo, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, a great driver and most of all he listened to all our queries (I reallly wanted a coffee break and he made sure we get one; he made sure he stops wherever we wanted to take pictures etc). Beautiful views, great pictures, so much to learn about this great city!

The vestiges of apartheid are very much present, but the Ubuntu spirit of Africa is very much alive. Poverty is real, but so is the community sharing and the care for children. The tour guide, Steven, was great. He knows the area and the people. He was a great guide. Learning about Hector Pieterson and the June 16, 1976 Youth Day Massacre -- visiting museum named for him and the Regina Mundi church -- were the highlight.
