This tour was absolutely perfect! Our guide and driver Ahmed, was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the trip. We really appreciated how professional and trustworthy he was. It was a pleasant trip, not too far, through a surprisingly green valley. The visit to the village and the tea with bread and tasting were very worthwhile, thanks in part to Martin's enthusiastic storytelling, who explained a lot about the Tamazigh people, their language and way of life. You become a bit wiser. The visit to the argan oil cooperative (though the products are quite expensive) was also informative, and because we were the only English speakers registered, we received the full, enthusiastic attention of Amal, who explained in detail the ins and outs of over 100 argan oil-based products. The mediocre lunch and ditto service in a picturesque spot on the banks of the Ourika River took place against the backdrop of a booming mass tourism industry. The walk to the local waterfall is, if you're able to climb a fair number of stairs—including natural ones—no problem and quite enjoyable. We even saw monkeys. A day well worth the money.


