It was convenient and quick (only redeeming the Skyliner ticket took a while. The staff directed us to use the self-service machine, where we waited in line for about 10 minutes. Since we were new there and didn't know how to operate it, we asked a staff member to help us. It felt a bit awkward, but then we were lucky enough to meet another staff member before entering the gate and told us we needed to take the elevator to the Skyliner platform. I'm sure this will be clearer next time). I loved the Skyliner's charging station (it was under the front seatback, which took a while to find). The seats were comfortable and perfect for catching up on some sleep. The subway ticket reduced the time it took to buy tickets for each trip. The 24-hour ticket allowed us to visit Shibuya Sky, Ginza, return to Ueno for our hotel stay, and join a day tour at Nijubashi Tokyo Station the next morning. It was very useful.
