Aji came to pick us up at our hotel when it was not possible according to the application. Aji is super smiling, super sociable! He taught us to speak Indonesian it was a nice time in the car (4 hours drive in total) Thanks to him for the transport it was really nice. Regarding the activities, it is in accordance with the description with one exception: the description specifying a meal with the premises included but finally after booking it is not included. That being said, we got some for €8 and we enjoyed ourselves! We were lucky enough to see dozens of black monkeys very quickly with a baby monkey with an orange tail it was excellent! The guide told us that we were very lucky at the time to have seen so many black monkeys so quickly. Regarding the visit of a local village, do not expect a real village. It was more like an open-air museum. It’s an excursion to the heart of local life, not too touristy so it has us much more! We recommend this experience!

Rema was a very friendly guide who taught us a lot about his country and its people. The hike to the waterfalls was very impressive, and the lunch afterwards was delicious. The traditional village was a real rip-off for us; it was littered with rubbish and loitering locals who looked unfriendly but wanted tips at the end. There are certainly more beautiful villages on Lambok that could be visited on the tour. Rema then invited us to a traditional dinner at his home. His wife prepared a delicious Indonesian meal for us, and they were very hospitable.

We had a fantastic tour by Warong Monkey Forest. Ron gave us a warm welcome and even spoke excellent Dutch, which we were delighted to hear! Astro (his brother) gave us the tour and passionately shared all sorts of interesting facts and showed us some truly beautiful things. He knew every corner of the forest and shared facts about vanilla, spiders, and the monkeys. We had a wonderful day! A guide is definitely recommended, as we wouldn't have been able to discover these places without him. Lunch is included at the Monkey Forest restaurant itself and was the tastiest nasi goreng we've had in Indonesia so far. Highly recommended.
