Overall in line with the description, but the tour guide was late in the morning. The time to stay in the German town is relatively tight. After tasting the pig hands and sausages, the visit time is less than half an hour. The pig hands are very large. It is recommended that three people order one.

Unfortunately, the wine tour didn’t happen. The outfit promptly contacted me before I traveled to let me know and offered me an upgrade to the Mount Rainier experience and I am so glad that I accepted that over a refund. Lucas was an amazing guide and we got to see spectacular views from every angle of Mount Rainier. This really was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. Everyone one (22 of us in total) on the tour was amazing and the tour afforded each of us the opportunity to do as much or as little hiking as desired, all with fantastic views. In the two hours that we had on Sunnyside, I hiked 5 miles with an elevation gain of 1400 feet across the hike. Others simply took a picnic lunch in the park overlooking the mountain. Lucas gave us two hours at sunrise before we went on to two other stops - reflection lake and Narada Falls. The ice cream parlor/Café/fruit stand stop at the end was a nice capstone. He was timely both in his pick up and drop off time estimates and accommodated picking me up downtown, but dropping me off at the airport after the excursion. There is a lot of driving involved, so a person should manage expectations on that front, given the distance from downtown Seattle to the park, as well as additional passenger pick up and two quick stops along the route.
