Working in the area and this was the cheapest place I found. Surprised me how good it was. Friendly staff, clean rooms and most importantly a good bar with entertainment

A very clean and tidy Hotel, in a bit of a hilly location… still very central…staff were very friendly, breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
First time at a Holiday inn. The staff very welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotless.
2 night stay and the included breakfast was top notch. Help yourself cooked breakfast. Large and very comfy bed, amenities were great. Double shower and toiletries all readily available.
Decent beer as well.
But just remember to take change if you're not paying by card as they don't have any.
Looking forward to going back early next year.
A nice clean and tidy hotel. A parking permit was provided for parking the car near the beach which is super convenient. It is a bit easier to find a parking space at night. You also can borrow the beach toys from the hotel. I would say it is a lovely place for a family to stay.
The hotel is very quiet and has lived many times. Every service staff is very nice and very welcoming. There are also many choices for breakfast, they are delicious, there is no thunder, breakfast under 12 is free. The hotel has a swimming pool and a small sauna. The swimming pool is particularly popular and there are people swimming every time they pass. There is a Tesco supermarket next to it. It is especially convenient to walk for ten minutes and walk to recharge every day.
Excellent location : At of lulworth cove and at the beginning of the walk to Durdle door ( 30 min). Small hotel of 20 rooms , nicely decorated rooms with lounge corner ,.desk.and chair, bath and shower, lovely breakfast room ( mini paint au chocolat and croissant , bread , butter , jam, honey , marmite , a few usual cereals like coco pops, cherios type, muesli, orange or appl juice , banana, apple or small oranges ), some tables outside on the patio as well. The location is definitely 10/10

DDiana 1994In general everything was great.
We suggest to change mattress as both we and our friends had terrible back pain but this is of course just a preference and not everyone wants a hard mattress as we do.
Apart from that we love it all in this hotel.
Thankyou .
88285SueHDouble sea view room with balcony. Spacious bedroom with nice seating area. Clean and in good decorative order. Comfy bed, quality linen. Wonderful, original metal-framed window and French door opening out onto huge balcony. Unfortunately, the sea view tuned out to be when looking left from the end of the balcony and not from the actual bedroom. Kettle needed descaling. Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint.
Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful!
Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room …
The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.
YYangGood location and cleanliness, sea view if you upgrade your room.
Only the tv was not working, and bad at Sound insulation, cause I can hear others talking at night
SShoaibAmazing stay at Hotel Celebrity. Located very near to the scenic view, it offers great and spacious rooms. I stayed at room number 246 and the room was quite spacious clean tidy along with a private bathroom that had a bath tub. The stay was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive to any query a customer might have. Breakfast includes bacon and other vegetarian options but there was just one spoon to use for bacon as well as the vegetarian options which can lead to cross contamination and for someone like me who does not eat bacon it was a deal breaker. However if a separate spoon would be kept to avoid cross contamination then it would have been even more amazing. Overall the stay and the locality is nice and the staff is quite friendly too. Would highly recommend Hotel Celebrity to everyone willing to travel to Bournemouth for a vacation or leisure time.
KKianWas all clean and very good ans would defo go there agian it did the job for 1 day and I was happy with the accommodation only thing that can be improved is there was no charger wholes I had to have a plug
GGuest UserThe cold water tap was leaking and the shower did not work. The reception has an express check out, so you just leave the key in a box, no goodbye, no thank you, how was it? Beds very uncomfortable, rooms not very clean and very noisy if sleeping with an open window as there is a main road or motorway very near the hotel. Mostly for elderly people and good to them for having fun every night with live music. 👏
GGuest UserLovely one night stay at this hotel, was about a 20 minute walk to the centre! Room was nice and the bathroom was lovely! The only downside was what the room resembled a sauna to the point we had to ask for an extra fan which wasn’t too much trouble for the reception team after they located one! I would stay again but would recommend you do not stay anywhere near the leisure facilities and especially not room 23 unless you like waking up feeling like you’re abroad!
GGuest UserWorking in the area and this was the cheapest place I found. Surprised me how good it was. Friendly staff, clean rooms and most importantly a good bar with entertainment
GGuest UserHotel’s location great, close to seafront and town centre.
The room smelt a but funny as you walked in and I would not have been able to open the window without my boyfriends help.
The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest it looked like someone tried to flush a teabag down the toilet and it was stuck on the bottom.
The water pressure on the 3rd floor was absolutely rubbish, it would’ve been easier to have a wash in the sink.
We did request a room with a bath tub, which we didn’t get, but on the other hand the hotel had a little outdoor garden with sauna and hot tub which we did use for additional £20/person and we did not regret it!
Also the young man on the reception was extremely helpful.
YYONGMEIThe Swanage Grand Hotel is in a good location, 20㎞ from Bournemouth and 14㎞ from Bournemouth Railway Station. The hotel is on the hill and has a great view from the window.
