The hotel is located in the Snowdon Mountain Scenic Area, about 100 meters away is the Snowdon Mountain Train Station, which is very convenient. The hotel has a large parking lot with free parking. The room is average, relatively small, but clean and hygienic.
We got the room on top floor. We felt tired to walk up and down the stairs but luckily the staff was helpful to bring the luggage up to the room once.
There was only bath tub and no shower. We could not stand on the bath tub because the ceiling was low and half blocked.
No table and chair. We only sat on the beds in a small room.
The hotel is ok if you book it for 3 people or less. I booked it for my family of 4 and the description on the booking site was different from what I had. Description on Trip.com clearly mentioned that I will have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, but 1 single bed finally changed to a sofa bed. I did discuss it with the concierge, and she said the hotel policy can arrange a sofa bed if 3 bed’s bedrooms are full. I did check again, I really didn’t find it on policy page and also room description. Lastly, the sofa bed, I actually don’t think it is a sofa bed. The sofa cannot be extended. The arm of the sofa and the back of the sofa are still there.
Really clean room, good service at the front desk but the aircon is like a cement mixer unfortunately :-( if they sort that out then it’s a perfect stay! Also parking is non existent you need to put your car in a council car park and hope it doesn’t get broken into! Btw don’t stay in a room opposite the travel lodge as you will be away all night! Other than that no issues.
A beautiful building, atmospheric and old, with a great vioew of Loch Ness - really has to be the best. The hotel is a looking a little old and tired. The 4 poster suite is the best in the hotel, but neeeds and upgrade. The food also needs a total makeover. Verdict: a lovely hotel that needs major investment and upgrade. Book through a travel website, as the hotel's own rates are too high.
Amazing place to stay to those who seek for extra ordinary quite space with superb mountains view in Eryri National Park. . . . . and fall asleep in 12th Century Cottage
Downstairs is the bar will be a bit noisy, probably lasting until 11 or 12 o'clock. Overall, the front desk of the hotel is very good, the bed is very soft, the room is quite big, very close to the station. Overall, the stay is more comfortable and satisfactory.

GGuest UserThe hotel is small and cozy. Good breakfasts. It is convenient to stay overnight while traveling around the region. It's a bit difficult to find a parking space for a car. The hotel does not have an elevator.
