This was my first time using this hotel, but I am very satisfied with the price and location in front of the station.
The building is a little old, but it is carefully cleaned and I had a comfortable stay. There is a parking lot just a minute's walk away for 250 yen for 24 hours, so I would recommend this hotel for business or travel purposes.
If I go to Takaoka again, I will definitely use this hotel.
Overall the property is very good, clean, new and well maintained. Only the dinner service was In buffet style and choices of food is not up to the standard of this Onsen. Breakfast is served in buffet is fine. WiFi is weak. Staff service is very good.
The hotel is relatively large and the rooms are relatively large. It is very close to the Gaogang Buddha and takes less than five minutes to walk there. Check-in and check-out are done on the machine, and there are various languages to choose from, which is very convenient.
The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the train station. It is not close. Fortunately, there are some shops and restaurants nearby that can solve the meal.
I have stayed in this hotel group several times, the room furniture is simple and the area is spacious. There is an artificial hot spring bath in the hotel, but the place is not big.
Breakfast is average, don't have expectations.
After turning on the light switch, I found that there was no light. Maybe the light is really broken. But I found that if everything else in the room was turned on, there was enough brightness in the room. In addition, the hotel should have many years of history, and the taps are all used to adjust the temperature by mixing hot water with cold water.
Stealth place, scenic spot
The accommodation needs to check in by yourself. The key lock also needs to call through Japan to ask for the accommodation password. It is better to have more preparation.
Parking location
5 rooms share 2 large shower rooms, there are wind couples in the shower rooms, and a small hot spring with wind couples on the sea. It is very private and very good.
Accommodation can rent his kitchen or cook with the accommodator
The room is very comfortable
The view from the room is very good, there is free coffee in the lobby,
It happened that there was a show scheduled for the evening,
The hot spring outside is accompanied by snow, very beautiful, very comfortable 👍🏻
It would be better if you had hot drinks.
Bed was a bit small for two adults but acceptable for one night, room was small and could hardly open a big suitcase, but room was clean and good location from the main station. Would recommend for the price especially during weekends/ public holidays.
Allocate 20mins walk / 3 mins taxi from Toyama station.
Basics amenities with absolute clean room
Restaurant not offer dinner but a very big 7-11 nearby
Onsen in the city is chill, provided with free half size soba, ice cream stick!

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!
(Shops in the vicinity closes at about 5pm and open at 10am)

SScott DSIt is a well-located hotel located 2-3 minutes walk to Toyama Station. The distance you have to travel for a meal is also short because it is a restaurant nearby. However, I cannot have breakfast because I have to leave the hotel early in the morning for the Alpine Route trip, so it is a pity that all the accommodation plans provided by the hotel include breakfast.
WWHAI FUANGThe location of the Hotel is super strategic! Literally just next to the Detentsu Toyama Railway to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. If you are taking early timing of the cable car, staying at this hotel is the choice. Hotel is slightly at the older side, but it serves its purposes, the twin single bed room is big enuff for 2 person & 2 luggages. It is also surrounded by so many eateries and shopping mall. The Hotel is so strategic that you can take the Tour bus to Shirakawa as well as the Airport
WwngclncelineValue for money! So convenient to Toyama train station. Rooms were small but clean! Free breakfast provided and staff were very friendly as well

GGuest UserFor the price paid, we were happy to have stayed here for the night. Room was nice and big and came with 2 breakfasts. As with most Japanese hotels, the personal amenities available are ample. Car parking lots were ample and located next to the hotel. We are thankful that we met an English speaking Bangladeshi staff, Rashid, who was of great help to us.
TTiffanyThis was actually a lot better than what I expected, given the lack of pictures I could find. It was a shared bath, but it’s really like those traditional Japanese Ryokan. Yukatas are also given. Breakfast & dinner were provided & the whole place was just so cozy. It’s the more affordable option to stay at Murodo Terminal area. Nice getaway
