3-Star Hotels in Terengganu, Malaysia

Our suite room was big enough for 4 of us to stay but amenities provided were not sufficient. We asked for extras they happily provided us in a minute. Excellent room service! Something special from this hotel. They have a small nice room on the top floor for viewing the Draw Bridge. Excess free for all guests. This is bonus.

The location of the hotel is very strategic as it's just within 2-3 minutes walk to KTCC and the beach. The sea view at the family room is calming. Breakfast is okay - not too shabby with different main menu each day. The staff are polite. Restaurants, cafes and laundry shops are also within walking distance. The bed sheet and carpet in the toilet can be cleaner. Places of interests are not too far off either.

I had a wonderful stay at The Payang Hotel! Even though there were only two of us, we opted for the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent—within walking distance to Pasar Payang, where there’s a lively atmosphere and plenty of shops. We also found many great places to eat nearby, making meal times convenient and enjoyable. It’s close to Masjid Putih, which was a lovely landmark to visit during our stay. The hotel’s on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and their coffee and cakes are delightful. During our stay, we tried several dishes and desserts, all of which were very good. The Chinois Cafe, located within the hotel, offers a unique and aesthetically pleasing dining experience.  The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the property truly made our trip memorable. I’d happily recommend The Payang Hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay in the area!

The hotel serves its purpose as a stopover spot between Perhentian islands and the big land. Clean, comfortable with lovely staff. Breakfast is limited but once again, makes sense considering why it is there. The pricing is also aligned with the circumstances. Good experience. Boat transfers arrangement was flawless.

Coral View oli ihana erityisesti sijaintinsa vuoksi. Hotellin edestä avautui suoraan korallipuutarha ja merenalainen maisema. Vietin kolme päivää snorkkeli kasvoilla vedessä. Yhden päivän ajan satoi kaatamalla koko päivän, ja sen päivän vietin sisällä mökissä, koska hotellien ravintoloita lukuunottamatta muuta tekemistä ei ollut. En tiedä, onko koko saarella esimerkiksi hierontaa tms saatavilla sadepäivien varalle. Mökki oli ok, melko vaatimaton, mutta siisti. Jos pidät snorklaamisesta ja kaipaat lomaltasi oikeastaan vain sitä, tämä on sinun paikkasi. Snorklasin myös laiturin toiselle puolelle kilpikonnia katsomaan, mutta en nähnyt yhtään. Hotellin edessä olevissa koralleissa voit kuitenkin nähdä pieniä, suloisia rauskuja. Muista olla koskematta koralleihin!

The place situated in the deep forest which is around 2km away from the main road . It was a rocky ride but we surely enjoyed the adventure! The room was sparkly cleaned...the swimming pool is even better..clean and the children love it.. the surrounding was nature.. so it was indeed pleasant☺️this kind of place is suitable if Ur are looking for calming and rejuvenating escape from the city!

It is an apartment with a sense of age. My husband and I like it very much. I feel that I have returned to my childhood and I feel inexplicable intimacy. The room is spacious and bright, and the focus is that every part of the house is very clean. There is also a slide inside, the bear, the child likes it very much. I booked this house when I entered and left the island.

The facilities was so good..this hotel was near around mayang mall, ktcc & pasar payang..this hotel was so condusif👍🏻👍🏻

The room was very clean and the service was very friendly. The most impressive thing was that the waiter asked me for a tip, but the language communication was not smooth. It was the first time he was called a ”foreigner”

The hotel is located walking distance to Chinatown and generally clean. A little old and various parts of the hotel are under maintenance and repair.
