Anonymous userStrolling through the Chikan Overseas Chinese Ancient Town is like stepping into a time tunnel. The weathered arcade buildings tell the story of a century-old overseas Chinese community, while the carved windows exude Lingnan charm. I love the stone-paved streets at dusk, where warm yellow lights cast a glow on the blue bricks, like a flowing oil painting. A bowl of steaming claypot rice, with its fragrant rice and preserved sausage, brings a sense of happiness. At night, the jazz music from the bar street blends wonderfully with the ancient architecture. Here, history's weight is tempered with modern vitality, and performances on themes like overseas Chinese stories make it a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Anonymous userI visited all four scenic spots, each with its own unique features. If you have time, you should visit them all. The watchtowers are a distinctive local architectural feature, offering a deeper understanding of the local customs and traditions.

Anonymous userI visited Bird Paradise on the weekend. It wasn't crowded, and there was plenty of vegetation. There was also a butterfly exhibit, which was quite educational. Since the birds on the island were mostly hiding in the trees around midday, you could observe them clearly using binoculars from a nearby building. A new waterway has also been developed near the main entrance, offering a unique experience of boating and close-up observation.
