It is worth going. Pingtan highlights: the island scenery is beautiful, the blue tears are wonderful and dreamy, the road around the island is comfortable, the stone ancient village is unique, and the seafood is delicious. There are also wind power fields, elephant nose bay and other net red punch points, which is a good place for leisure and vacation.
The beauty of Pingtan Island is a rhapsody unleashed by the Creator. Stretching along 408 kilometers of coastline, the basalt canyons of Xianrenjing (Fairy Well) appear to have been carved by a giant axe. At low tide, stepping into the 47-meter-deep well, waves crashing against the black reef stir up thousands of snowdrifts. The slanting morning light feels like stepping into the secret realms of Iceland. Sunsets at Changjiangao are a visual wonder: a 3,000-acre array of windmills is reflected on the mirror-like beach. When the tide recedes, pink-blue shells scatter like stardust. At night, "blue tears" sparkle with the waves, like diamonds scattered on deep blue silk. Even more remarkable is the preservation of the character of a pristine fishing island. The clifftop road of the northern ecological corridor connects the colorful stone houses of Baisheng Village. Fishermen's nets hanging out to dry tremble in the wind, and the salty sea breeze carries an untamed wildness. For nine years, Pingtan has strived to balance development and conservation, anchored by an international style and youthful fashion. Smart tourism systems are already bearing fruit: Longwangtou Beach features real-time visitor flow monitoring, automatic flushing pools, and smart public toilets, significantly enhancing the visitor experience. The integration of culture and tourism is also a highlight: the Keqiutou Site Museum condenses 7,000 years of Austronesian civilization into an immersive exhibition; the "Planet Calling" Seaview Theater in Tannan Bay uses light and shadow to recreate the spectacle of the Blue Tears, bringing culture from the academic realm to the masses. However, over-commercialization is encroaching on some corners: the ancient architectural complex of Haitan Ancient City has been reduced to a cookie-cutter Yiwu small commodity market, and the throngs of people jostling for photo spots at the "Eye of the Strait" observation deck on Houyan Island often leave travelers feeling a sense of loss. Pingtan's ambitions extend beyond being a popular online destination. Events such as the International Kiteboarding Festival and the F4 Racing Carnival ignite excitement along the coast. Sailing activities at Pier 22 allow visitors to transition from simply "watching the sea" to "playing in it," signaling its progress toward becoming a full-time vacation destination. However, shortcomings remain: the public transportation network is weak, and the infrequent island-wide bus service forces tourists to rely on expensive chartered vehicles. Some homestays advertised as "sea view rooms" are actually located in remote villages, making the bumpy dirt roads a heart-wrenching journey home late at night. By strengthening ecological protection (for example, limiting commercial development along the northern corridor) and cultivating its unique cultural heritage (for example, reviving the intangible cultural heritage of rattan shield exercises), this "island closest to Taiwan" can truly become the Hawaii of the East. Pingtan is a gem sculpted by sea and wind—it boasts some of China's finest coastal scenery and stunning starry nights, yet it continues to vacillate between extensive development and sophisticated operations. If restrained craftsmanship replaces the short-sighted pursuit of traffic, it will surely shine as the brightest pearl of the Strait.

It's definitely worth a visit. I'd definitely go again, but it's not suitable for men. The ancient architecture, the laid-back atmosphere, the cool weather—who would have thought this was Fuzhou in July?! The shops were all fantastic, and I didn't miss a thing. I explored all the cultural and creative areas, and the alleys are unique. I was completely satisfied with both the food and the drinks. Meals: I didn't miss anything at Old Fuzhou. I ate there twice in a row. It's great value, but there's a line. I went to Zhuzifang after hearing a recommendation, but it was just average. The meals were so good that I didn't have room for the snacks. I couldn't finish the peanut soup, taro balls, and brown sugar egg tarts. 😅 I'm a three-dimensional photographer, but the difference isn't huge. It's mainly the AI editing. I've lost myself in the experience; it's all about the experience. Otherwise, I'd regret it. I live nearby, check in at the Love Tree, and take photos anytime. It's stunning.
Strolling through the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys feels like unfolding half of modern Chinese history. Bluestone pavements connect the Ming and Qing dynasty houses of Yijinfang and Wenrufang, where saddle-walls and carved doors and windows speak of the craftsmanship of Fujian. Beneath the heart-shaped banyan tree of Nanhou Street, tourists scramble to check in. Around the corner, you'll stumble upon the curling steam of the Tongli Meat-Dumpling Shop, where a bowl of wontons wrapped in bird's nest skin is deliciously chewy. The fusion of Chinese and Western styles in the flower hall of Yan Fu's former residence and the Tang-style courtyard of the Xiaohuanglou evoke memories of the translation of "Evolution and Ethics" and the poetic charm of the Tenghua Yinguan. The caisson ceiling of the waterside stage reflects the shimmering waters, while nighttime Minnan opera performances resonate with a century of elegance. Occasionally encounter a book engraver performing a bronze figure "Awakening," or a jasmine tea stall in the Song-style market—past and present intertwine here. Here, Lin Zexu's courage, Bing Xin's eloquence, and Lin Juemin's "Letter to My Wife" are all captured deep within the alleys of white walls and black tiles.

Houyan Island is part of the 68 Nautical Mile Island, a bit of a walk away, but there are paid tour buses. I encountered a fighter jet patrol—my first time seeing one, and they were incredibly close. There are several memorable photo spots on the island. Although it's closest to Taiwan, you can't actually see it because over 120 kilometers is still too far, haha.
Pingtan is close to the sea and has a beautiful scenic environment. Houyan Island, as one of Pingtan's tourist resorts, is backed by the sea and has countless beautiful scenery. It is definitely worth a visit, but don't be in a hurry.

Light Show Landmarks: ◦ Jiefang Bridge: The century-old bridge's lights transform, reflecting off the river. ◦ Zhongzhou Island: European-style buildings shimmer with golden light, resembling a "night pearl on the Minjiang River." ◦ Strait Financial Street: Modern skyscrapers (such as the IFC) interlock with lights, creating a sense of technology. ◦ Jinshan Bridge: Rainbow-colored lights blend beautifully with the river. • Integration of Nature and Culture: ◦ Pass by Gushan Mountain and Mawei Luoxing Pagoda (overlooked from a distance), and experience the fusion of mountains, rivers, and history. ◦ In summer, fireflies can occasionally be seen in the Minjiang Wetlands (ecological protection area).
Traveling to Fuzhou, take a night cruise along the Minjiang River. Free tea and candy are provided on board, and once the boat is underway, you can go to the second-floor deck to admire the scenery and lights. The boat passes by the Fanchuanpu Catholic Church, Financial Street, Wanda Plaza, and more. There are also dance and tea art performances on board. During the summer vacation, night cruises are popular with children. Children have a discount, but seniors and adults do not.

It's very big and impressive inside. I went too late and didn't see the show. I just took pictures inside and walked around. It's a pity. It's worth a visit. I recommend going early in the morning. It's best to go on weekends when there are more performances. There is also an amusement park inside, and you can buy tickets separately to play
Very good, very good. I went there on the afternoon of June 20th. The big night show was not until the 27th, so I didn't wait and didn't make a reservation. I still feel a little regretful. The ticket is very cheap. I can see so many performances and so many shows. It's worth it for me to take a bus from the city to here. I had a lot of fun that afternoon. I didn't post those good-looking videos.

There are many products in the Fujian Provincial Museum, and they are all very beautiful. The entire area is quite large, so if you go there, you are advised to bring some water. Some of the products there are very exquisite and in line with the audience's aesthetic taste. They have a strong sense of history. It is recommended that people of all ages come to visit.

Fuzhou Shangxiahang Cultural Leisure Tourism Scenic Area, located in Shangxiahang Archway, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It is the birthplace of Fujian merchants and an important node of the Maritime Silk Road. It is known as the "Fuzhou Traditional Commercial Museum". Shangxiahang Cultural Leisure Tourism Scenic Area is adjacent to the north bank of Minjiang River in Cangxia, covering an area of 31.73 hectares. With Longping Road as the core axis, it connects Shanghang Street, Xiahang Street, Sanjie River, Zhongping Road, and Longlingding to create four major business areas: Yeyue Entertainment Area, Baiye Experience Area, Art Business Area, and International Fashion Area, forming a block business linkage effect. There are venues such as Fuzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Gutian Guild Hall, and Yongde Guild Hall. Main attractions: Gutian Guild Hall, Yongde Guild Hall, Jianning Guild Hall, Nanjun Guild Hall, Minqing Guild Hall, etc.
I came to Shangxiahang in Fuzhou, which is full of historical charm and modern vitality, as if it is a painting of ancient and modern blending. When I stepped into Shangxiahang, the quaint buildings came into view. Those ancient streets and alleys, the bluestone slabs have been polished smooth by the years, as if telling stories of the past. There are many old shops, wooden doors, carved window lattices, and every detail reveals the rich Mindu style. I strolled among them, as if I had traveled through time and space and returned to the prosperous commercial port era. This is not only a witness to history, but also a gathering place for culture. There are many traditional handicraft shops in Shangxiahang, which display exquisite lacquerware, Shoushan stone carvings, etc. These handicrafts carry the skills and wisdom of Fuzhou. I was deeply attracted by a lacquerware shop, where the lacquerware in the shop was colorful and unique in shape. The shop owner enthusiastically introduced the production process of lacquerware to me, and I listened attentively and felt the charm of Fuzhou's traditional crafts. In addition to culture, the food in Shangxiahang is also unforgettable. The street food stalls exude an alluring aroma, with fish balls, meat swallows, taro paste and other specialties. I tasted the Fuzhou fish balls, the soft and glutinous skin wrapped with tender meat fillings, a bite, full of fragrance, let me linger on. The night in Shangxiahang is even more unique. When the lights come on, the ancient buildings are particularly charming under the light. The bars and teahouses along the river are bustling, and people are enjoying a leisurely time here. I sat in a teahouse by the river, sipping jasmine tea, admiring the night view of the Minjiang River, and feeling the unique charm of Shangxiahang. The trip to Shangxiahang allowed me to appreciate the profound historical and cultural heritage of Fuzhou, and also feel the modern vitality of this city. There are both ancient buildings and traditional skills, as well as fashionable business and food. It is a place worth visiting again and again.

Gushan, overlooking the best viewing platform in Fuzhou City, the environment is quiet, quiet, and the air is fresh. You can drive up the mountain, climb the mountain, ride a bicycle, etc., or take the cable car 🚡 up the mountain. There are also ancient temples such as Yongquan Temple on the mountain, it is worth a visit! [View] pleasant
Came here on December 30, 2013. Gushan is located in the eastern suburbs of Fuzhou, only 7 or 8 kilometers away from the city center, facing the Minjiang River to the south, and the highest peak is only more than 900 meters. It is more suitable for ordinary tourists to visit and has always been the "back garden" of the capital of Fujian. Therefore, this mountain is not only beautiful, but also has a profound cultural heritage. In addition to the Yongquan Temple, the "crown of Fujian temples", there are also numerous cliff carvings, including calligraphy works by celebrities such as Cai Xiang and Zhu Xi, which have been famous at home and abroad for thousands of years. For example, Jiang Teli, a Song Dynasty scholar, once wrote an article to share his experience of visiting the "Drinking Water Rock". In my opinion, the cliff carvings can be regarded as the biggest feature of Gushan. Starting from the urban area of Fuzhou, you can now take the subway directly, which is very convenient.

Lin Zexu Memorial Hall: A spiritual monument to explore the backbone of the nation In a corner of the bustling city of Fuzhou, the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall stands quietly, like an immortal spiritual beacon, illuminating the way for future generations to remember history and inherit the national spirit. It is not only a commemoration of Lin Zexu's personal life, but also a treasure house of deep patriotic feelings and national integrity, attracting countless people to come and admire and remember. Entering the memorial hall, the first thing that comes into view is the solemn stone archway, with inscriptions such as "Zhongxing Zonggun" and "Zuohai Great Man" on the archway, highlighting Lin Zexu's outstanding historical status. Walking along the stone road, the courtyard is neatly laid out, shaded by green trees, and the quiet atmosphere makes people feel awe. The architectural style in the hall is simple and elegant, retaining the characteristics of traditional Fuzhou folk houses, and the white walls and gray tiles tell the past years. The memorial hall vividly reproduces Lin Zexu's magnificent life through rich cultural relics, pictures, and multimedia displays. The "Humen Opium Destruction" exhibition area is particularly shocking. In the restored model of the Humen Opium Destruction scene, the billowing smoke seems to break through the display cabinet, and the scene of Lin Zexu commanding the destruction of opium with great righteousness seems to emerge in front of us. It is a heroic feat of the Chinese people to resist aggression and defend national dignity, showing Lin Zexu's lofty spirit of "If it is beneficial to the country, life and death, why should we avoid it because of misfortune or fortune". In the exhibition hall of banning opium and resisting the British, various memorials, letters, weapons and other cultural relics restore Lin Zexu's unremitting efforts to resist foreign enemies and safeguard national sovereignty under difficult times. Faced with the oppression of the great powers and the corruption at home, he never backed down, firmly promoted reforms, learned advanced Western technology, and became the first person in modern China to "open his eyes to the world". This spirit of daring to break through and take responsibility laid the ideological foundation for the salvation movement in later generations, and inspired generations of Chinese people to fight for the prosperity of the country. There are also contents introducing Lin Zexu's achievements in water conservancy, education and other aspects in the museum. He attached importance to people's livelihood, built water conservancy projects to benefit the people; advocated education, cultivated talents, and contributed to the long-term development of the country. These deeds let people see that Lin Zexu is not only a national hero, but also a down-to-earth doer with a heart for the world. In addition to static displays, the memorial hall will also regularly hold lectures, theme exhibitions and other activities to spread Lin Zexu's spirit and thoughts. Here, students can learn historical knowledge and feel the power of the national spirit; adults can clarify their responsibilities and responsibilities in reflecting on history; tourists can have an in-depth understanding of China's modern history and appreciate Fuzhou's profound cultural heritage. Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is a dialogue window between history and reality, and an important position for inheriting the national spirit. It carries the great spirit of Lin Zexu, allowing every visitor to gain inspiration and strength from it. In the tide of the times, this spirit is like a fire that never goes out, inspiring us to uphold justice, bravely take responsibility, and make unremitting efforts to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
There is a sense of sedimentation of modern history, and I can feel the vicissitudes of a century ago. I can also feel the spirit of our ancestors who yearned for a better life in their own country more than a hundred years ago and worked hard. I also understand that the drug problem is not a matter of one person or a small family, but a matter of the whole society, the whole country, and even the whole world.

There are not many people on weekdays. There is tea in each area. The waiters are also very diligent. The liquor pool has a strong smell of liquor. The fish in the fish therapy pool are very lively and dedicated. Because you need to wear a swimming cap to enter the spa, you can book the place invisibly. The experience is super good😀😀😀
Let's talk about the hot spring water first. There are white wine pool, beer pool, old wine pool, wormwood pool, licorice pool and mint pool outdoors. There are three low-temperature pools indoors, a paddling pool for children, and adults can also swim. The rest area and bathing area are good. The service staff are warm and thoughtful. There are 2 tea buckets and paper cups next to the pool. The package value of 130! Including lunch and dinner.
