Restaurant L'Essentiel

The restaurant looks a bit low-key from the outside. But the food is great. The food starts with a delicate cold dish with a little cream, sweet, sour and other subtle flavors complementing each other and blending in. My first dish was a poached egg soup with vegetables, mushrooms and some spinach mud, which was delicious. The main course was meat stew, and some duck livers were added to the liqueur, again, and it tasted great. I chose cheese as a dessert, very dominant goat and sheep cheese. All in all the dining experience was great. Not so good, the atmosphere was not so comfortable, the tables were close to each other, and the waiter kept running up and down between the two floors of the restaurant.

Located in the old town of Avignon, a great French meal, mainly French cuisine with Provence flavor. Open every night at 7 pm, elegantly decorated and romantic, each dish is exquisite and delicious, fully reflecting the tallness of the French meal, highly recommended.

This is a restaurant we accidentally found when we were hiking. We went in and tasted it. The taste was good. It was very special and worth tasting. There were not many people in the store and the service was very warm! A shop worth tasting.
