Photos of Bali Museum

The Bali Museum is located on the side of the central square in Denpasar, Bali, and is mainly used to display the history and art of Bali. Originally established in 1910 by a Dutch resident, destroyed by the earthquake of 1917, it was rebuilt in the 1920s until the German artist Walter Spiess and some Dutch officials revived the collection and preservation in 1932. The idea of Balinese artifacts and cultural artefacts has rebuilt this museum. The Bali Museum looks like a palace from a distance, very beautiful, and the layers of carved doors are exquisite and layered. There are courtyards and gardens in the museum, and many kinds of lush trees are scattered in the courtyards. The museum consists of four buildings, each exhibiting different objects. The collections in the museum are rich and exquisite, including a variety of antiquities, ancient tools and farm implements, musical instruments, carvings, spears, paintings, textiles, dance costumes and traditional Balinese handicrafts.
