The Michelin two-star Mandarin Oriental Le Normandie recommends foie gras, truffles, caviar, lobster & wagyu. The view of the Poye River is paired with the highest-grade cuisine in Paris and Tokyo. It is undoubtedly the best authentic French restaurant in Bangkok. The service quality is impeccable, and the spacious and gorgeous space and comfortable chairs that can be sat on for five hours are also worthy of praise. A takeaway snack bag and a hand-painted thank-you card are provided.

A good value meal. The service of Le Normandie is really the best. From the email reservation and dining service before the trip to the feedback after the meal, every step makes you feel at home. The river view is pleasing to the eye. Although the whole restaurant is not particularly large, the comfort is not discounted. The hotel reception staff is also very kind.

This French restaurant, which is run by a two-star Michelin chef, is located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Bangkok. I made a reservation for the set menu for lunch one month in advance through the email address provided on the official website, but unfortunately I still couldn't get a seat by the window where I could enjoy the view of the Chao Phraya River. However, the dining experience was quite good, with exquisite products, beautiful environment, and good service. For authentic French food, the most memorable thing was the lobster cappuccino ordered in addition to the set menu, which was actually a lobster soup. It looks plain and unpretentious, but it is actually very delicious. The lobster meat is unexpectedly chewy, and the quantity is also more than I imagined... After the meal, a dessert cart was served, and you can choose any two dessert combinations, and the pastry chef will draw on the spot. I am not interested in desserts, so I ordered two casually, and the result looked terrible. My friend chose two in white and brown, which looked much more high-end. Finally, 4 macarons were served, which I had for breakfast the next day~

The bread in the second picture (almost destroyed by me) is really amazing. It looks the same, but the elasticity, oh, it's amazing. The skin is very crispy and fragrant, and when it touches the meat itself, there are all kinds of wonderful tastes. How to describe that elasticity, hmm, it's like it responds in different naughty ways every time you chew it. It is said that the secret is the nine-year fermentation agent. On the right is seaweed butter, which goes perfectly with this bread. I asked if they sell the French brand Bordier. Picture 3 The lamb that makes people think of it. It's so tender that it can't be lamb, except that it has the fragrance of lamb but not the smell of lamb. Picture 4 This soufflé is another must-have. The first bite is like ascending to heaven, with a circle of birds spinning above your head. Is it because of the crispy top layer, or the soft body? Le Normandie at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is our favorite two-Michelin-star restaurant and one of the best French restaurants in Asia. The eight-course dinner gave us countless surprises with the chef's creativity. French cuisine, two Michelin stars, 10,086 times better than the ginza sushi ichi at Miyi last night, delicious! It was so relaxing to look at the river view! ​
