Although it was extremely busy with both dine in &amp; takeaway, everyone was welcoming and cheerful. The service was great &amp; the food was excellent! I&rsquo;ll definitely go back &amp; recommend it highly.

Had a corner table reserved. Service was quick and professional with samosas coming out very quickly after ordering. Mains were tasty with just the right amount of spice and a generous serve. Plates for main course were heated before being placed- this for us is a must as it keeps the food hot while eating. Although the place was busy on a Friday night serving staff were always available when needed. We enjoyed our meal in a convivial atmosphere

Magic Curries is an outstanding cosy restaurant in a Georgian Cottage with an open fire. The food is well cooked, flavoursome and generous and the service is very friendly and professional. We felt welcomed and appreciated. We were able to linger and enjoy conversation. We must go again soon!

This restaurant has an unpreposessing name but the food is delicious. Our curries (Bombay Beef and Goan Fish) were delightfully complex. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. Adequate wine/beer list. Very interesting surrounds. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

What a tantalizing experience for our taste buds. Great food and great service, what more could you ask for! Haven&#39;t had such good Italian food in a while. Put this on your must do list when you visit Hobart. But book in advance as they are very popular.
The food was good and the service was professional and friendly. Good recommendations and a delicious meal. We can&#39;t wait to come back.

There is something here to tempt everyone&#39;s sweet tooth. The food is delicious and perfectly presented. The only area that this cafe needs to improve is the service. Ordering at the counter makes it feel less like a cafe and more like a cafeteria. The two times I visited recently, the restaurant was very busy and the service was very slow. Don&#39;t be surprised if you have to wait 20-30 minutes for your dessert. However, the food is worth the wait.
