Traditional and popular restaurant, serving Hungarian cuisine. The problem is the fiddle band is incredibly loud and makes conversation difficult.Service was excellent, keep in mind a 12% fee is added.The goulash in a cup was delicious, as was the chicken paprikash. The meat pancakes were also delicious.Well decorated. Booking required.

We went with a small group. The waiters were really nice but I think they imagined they were aristocrats based on their behavior. The food reminded me of the good old days when I lived in the country. I can recommend it.

Authentic Hungarian food. The restaurant has a traditional feel (opened 1899) and the Hungarian food is very good! I tried the bone marrow with toasted bread and garlic and it was really delicious! My Hungarian friend told me to rub raw garlic on the toast and spread the bone marrow on the toast and sprinkle a little salt on the bone marrow. The combination of flavors is divine. I also tried the chicken soup and the hot pot with marrow bones...both were like my grandmother's typical home cooked soups and never fail to impress. Really good. My main course of trout fried in butter was also good. I didn't like the delicious bread and soup like I spent too much on my main course. If you want to try really good traditional Hungarian food, this is one of the places to go in Budapest!

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had a great lunch. We ordered fisherman's soup and four different main courses (wild, beef and calf). The dessert selection was good. <br />Service is very good, really old fashined style delicate and precise. The atmosphere is very good. It is a perfect choice! :-)

The fish soup is superb, I think it is the most delicious. The veal with foie gras is also delicious, the bone marrow with bread is very fragrant, 3-4 It is better to eat it while it is hot, and it is a bit greasy.
