les bistronomes A very casual French restaurant. Ordered duck liver/Beef Wellington/Caramel pudding. Not a restaurant I would go to again. Duck liver is not only salty but also fishy for people like me who don&#39;t like to eat offal. It&#39;s thin, crispy and greasy. I feel uncomfortable in my stomach after eating it.

The crispy skin of the Beef Wellington is very fragrant and crispy. The steak is a little bit light, but steaks in the village are basically sprinkled with salt and pepper. The spices probably include mustard, I think, the smell is so strong that I want to throw away the crispy skin.

The caramel pudding is neither good nor bad. It tastes similar to the most expensive one I bought in the supermarket, but it has more vanilla seeds.

For me, the main course is more disappointing than the appetizer 😑

We were hungry as we passed by and decided to go for dinner. We didn&rsquo;t know they were specializing in gin, which was a very pleasant coincidence. Gin is &ldquo;deconstructed&rdquo; and allows you to add extra flavor, which is fun. The food was fantastic! Tapas snack style, perfect when immersed in a variety of gin. Service was good, all the staff were nice and attentive, Gaia was particularly lovely and knowledgeable. This place made me wish I was staying in Canberra.
