We were visiting Cologne for a city trip and looked for a brunch place to be with a friend. I am so happy The Fork recommended Frau Mahèr. The waiter and the Restaurant manager were absolutely a delight, the waiter had a great smile and spoke wonderful English. The food overall was delicious, I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. Croissant and homemade jam and the pancakes. My partner had the Shakshouka. All of it delicious. And wonderful, highly recommend.

Delicious meal in a nice ambiance. We had a vegan starter for two, which was excellent and very finely balanced, along with two cocktails that were quite well prepared. For mains I had the vegan Triangole with Portobello mushrooms, paired with a glass of bio red – a match made in taste heaven. My partner enjoyed the Goose breast and leg with red cabbage and potato dumplings which he truly enjoyed, also with a glass of red. The menu is not extensive however it has several options for vegetarians and vegans. Quality ingredients and friendly service.

Frau Maher is a cosy small restaurant within a walk from Cologne city center. All the food was good or excellent. Many veggie options (not our case, but some people like it), several nice deserts/cake options. Very fast which is not typical for Germany on the holiday. Overall, great experience, highly recommended!

Of all the restaurants in Köln I was very fortunate to discover frau maher. Everything was excellent, from the food to the service! Thank you for your hospitality and the amazing diner!

Food was very good, starters were exceptional, the sauces on all courses were to die for. Venison was perfect. Roulade was unfortunately cremated and inedible, but the filling and accompaniments made up for it. The Kaiserschmarrn was sublime. Service was good but could have been more friendly. Great cocktails.
