Det Lille Apotek

This store has a history of nearly 300 years. Over the years, it has always provided high-quality products at low prices, and its food is delicious and healthy. The combination of meat and vegetables is very good, but the tableware in the store is old.

We came here purely by chance after a long walk through Copenhagen's elegant streets and were so glad we did! The place is charmingly eighteenth century with modern expressionist paintings on the walls. There is a hint of flavor in the smorgasbord of spells, they do have great bread and beer, very good buffet selection, incredible fries: hot, crispy inside and tender inside, etc. They must be the best potatoes pre-roasted, twice fried the traditional way. Worth a try!

Don't expect fancy cullinary creations in this beautiful, historic place but typical Danish food, friendly service, although busy. We took our American friends for a traditional Danish lunch menu, very well prepared dishes.
