The tea plantation was built in 1892 and now consists of three parts: a tea factory, a tea museum and a tea plantation. It has witnessed the rise and fall of Mauritius' tea culture for a century and produces the most famous local vanilla black tea.”

Secondly, the service was quite considerate. There were special waiters in the private room serving tea and water, and they were quite diligent.
