The food was delicious beyond words. We had the Menu sampler and got to experience various preparations, one more delicious than the other. The staff is SUPER friendly and spoke fluent English. Even though the menu was in German with the help of the staff and Google Translate was easy to navigate. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to potential diners!

What a find! We had the most amazing food experience and the only request we would have was to add a sommelier to help us through the wine selection as we would have loved to explore them. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend.

Wonderful evening. Have not been there since years, and coming back was definitely worth it. If you happen to be in Dusseldorf, it is a must. And quite interesting wine list!

Amazing food and presentation. We thought that both the starters and main dishes were interesting with lots of unexpected flavor. My wife and I loved our evening and will definitely return for more next time we are in town.

Schiffchen and JP Bourgeil remaib our absolute favourite location.The current menu is easier to understand tham some of the previous culinary escapades - which might not be as well seen by the peopke chasing stars and points.But he has been there for decades.The menu is a tremendous value and each course a delight.I do hope that 'Mon Cherie' makes a comeback at some pointIf you haven't been yet...make sure you go!
