Mirissa Eye

This restaurant is right on the beach. I went there after seeing a recommendation. I ordered a grouper, two pounds of prawns, and a squid, which cost 5,500 rupees in total. Someone said that I could bargain, but I talked for a long time and the price didn't go down. That's all. The best thing was the grilled fish, which tasted good and suited the Chinese taste. The squid was too big and tasted okay, so it was hard for two people to finish it.

Very lively meal bar, it should be the most central location of the beach, the waiter will speak a few words in Chinese, the price is here, many people are here, seafood looks OK, eating is not very fresh, it seems to be like this, because Sri Lankans do not kill, seafood is frozen to death.

The dining environment is first-class, with natural decorations by the sea. Unfortunately, it was cloudy for two days in Mirissa, so we missed the Indian Ocean sunset. The fried shrimps were delicious, but the French fries were not as good as McDonald's. The pizza was okay, and the stir-fried dishes were a bit spicy but oily.

I ate here for two nights in a row. First of all, I would like to give an overall evaluation. I think the scenery is good, the service is average, and you can choose the seafood yourself, but I don’t know if it’s my psychology or something. I think the food on the second day is not as delicious as the first day, and the portion is a little smaller.

It's a coincidence! When we went, we were catching up with Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was away from the band and fireworks. The waiter also had a Christmas hat. It was very lively and cute. If things are good, the seafood is still fresh, the service is worse, the food is super slow, we have waited for a long time. Tip: Seafood can be discounted, big lobster 7000 rupees, crab 4 3700 rupees, red salmon 2,000 rupees, and don't forget happy hour!!
