Small place in one of the square of Forio, few tables outside where enjoy simple but tasty plates enjoying the vibe of the city
We had a table for 8 peopleand every one of us agreed it was the best meal that we’d had in Forio. My steak with spinach and port sauce served on mashed potato and a crouton was delicious and cooked to perfection!
Very nice service. The food was excellent and very original compared to other Ischia restaurants which seem to fall into 2 categories: the gastronomical type with a lot of emphasis on raw fish dishes and the traditional type (fried calamari, pizza, etc etc). This restaurant is particularly original and the chef is to be complimented. We particularly loved the Focaccia Tostata con Tonno and even more the terrific Carpaccio di Ricciola in a tomatoe gaspacho. We then had spaghettoni vongole limoni and the linguine con zucchine e gamberi crudi. The second was more original and much more enjoyed than the first. We did not have dessert. I look forward to returning. Only one small regret (that I have in many restaurants): music should not be played in the restaurant speaker. I forgot: one eats on an animated and pretty small square in the center of Forio, on its main touristy pedestrian street. The 2 raggazzi serving the few tables were very friendly, as has been my experience all over Ischia in the last 9 days
Second visit for last evening in Forio. Very friendly staff, quality and tasty food. All was good. Never forget our holiday in this place.
