This is a Michelin-listed restaurant, the quality of Western food here is really nothing to say, it is so delicious, especially the steak here, very tender and delicious

A really genteel restaurant with super food and attentive service and a nice quiet ambiance. The Pork is especially good. We&rsquo;ve had the Black Pork Cheek and the medallions of Pork. 5 star.

The Goya is very welcoming we had a marvelous meal there on Saturday 24th May service was first class wonderful food accompanied by a violin player

Food was amazing, as we were ordering the tapas we were advised that we had ordered enough for the three of us. They could have just let us order more and took the money knowing we probably wouldn&rsquo;t be able to eat it. A lot of restaurants do good food but this place was superb with their food and equally great with their hospitality. We will return.

Been to this restaurant every time we stay in Madeira because the food is fantastic, the staff are brilliant and the service is great and so friendly. Never had a bad meal here and the owner Filipe gives us the warmest welcome each time we go and he`s become  a good friend too. Recommend the restaurant to anyone and you wont be disappointed.

Had lunch at this restaurant with a fellow pork-loving friend.  Pork tacos and the pork ribs were both delicious.  Cocktails great also!  Friendly service, casual atmosphere.

The food and staff were amazing, as always. However some of the customers let them down, there was a child on the table next to us, around 2 years old with a phone on watching something on full volume and a woman opposite us on a FaceTime call for the whole duration. If you&rsquo;re going to bring your kids with a phone or tablet, please provide them with headphones, if you want to make a FaceTime call, wait until you get home or go outside!! These people have no regard for the other customers.

First impressions should not deter.  It&rsquo;s a lovely friendly restaurant with well cooked and well priced local food. Yes, it&rsquo;s part of a shopping centre but looks out directly onto the ocean and is very clean and well presented.  A simple menu done well. Would recommend booking.

I can&rsquo;t fault this place. It&rsquo;s really good restaurant. The food is lovely, the service excellent and a really good choice on the menu. We come to this restaurant every time we come to Madeira. It&rsquo;s one of the best.
