Hostaria Ducale

The restaurant is on a side street near a busy piazza, but once you enter the atmosphere is calm and elegant. The dining area is fully sheltered from the public view and features granite tables, soft lighting and welcoming staff. The menu is mostly devoted to fish and the dishes we had were delicious and innovative. Extensive wine list. Not inexpensive, but a fair price value ratio.

We had an excellent meal with wine pairings. The food was great, the staff was great and very attentive and the setting is beautiful. We would definitely go back!

Great service for a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the 5 steps dinner but they always surprised us with something else. I would describe it here but it would spoil the surprise.

This is a very fine high end restaurant with a caring serving staff, creative cooking, elegant atmosphere and an interesting wine list. Breads and desserts are spectacular. As I told the restaurant on another review site my only concern was a little too much salt in some of the dishes They graciously agreed to discuss that with the chef although they say there were no other complaints.
