We booked a seafood barbecue buffet at the Western restaurant of Mission Hills Hotel in Haikou, which actually included the hotel's water park. The kids loved it. We went there early in the afternoon, but it was still a bit sunburned. It got better in the evening when the sun was blocked by the hotel. There were inflatable slides, banana boats, and hand-rowed boats. It was a nice experience, and the buffet was great too.
