Today, I went to Shangri-La Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant with my friends to try the dim sum buffet. It was really great. There were many varieties and each one was delicious. It is highly recommended and the price/performance ratio is super high.

My relative's wedding was held here, and we booked their banquet. It can be said that Shangri-La is good in terms of location and food quality. The location is good and the service is good. The whole family is very satisfied, and there are many restaurant choices.

The check-in experience is too bad! First of all, the hotel security is too poor. You can enter and exit the elevator to any floor at will. How can guests feel at ease to check in? Secondly, as a five-star hotel in the northwest region, the room area is really too small, and the interior decoration is also very old. You have to swipe the room card four or five times to open the door. The glass is so dirty that you can hardly see outside. The faucet in the bathroom needs a lot of force to be moved. The hardware facilities are not as good as the newly opened hotels that cost three or four hundred yuan a night. Moreover, the water delivered is actually ice dew, and it is the kind that has water vapor in it. Express hotels are better than this. Let’s talk about the service. The service is completely non-existent. I took a taxi to the door of the hotel. The waiter standing at the door didn’t help or help open the door with a lot of things in my hand. The service of the guy at the front desk was pretty good and he kept smiling, but when I checked out the next day, the waiter kept pulling his face. When I called the service center, the other party’s attitude was also very stiff. It is worth mentioning that the aunt who came to deliver fruit was very kind. Seeing that I had a lot of things, she opened the door for me and told me to leave for a long time. The overall service should be at this level. Also, when we called to book the room, the front desk did not tell us that the hotel swimming pool was not available during the days we stayed. We came here because we read the reviews that the swimming pool was good. As a result, the swimming pool was repaired and could not be used. The waiter did not apologize at all and said confidently that it could not be used. This was very unsatisfactory. The gym was also unmanaged all day. It felt like anyone could come to the gym by taking the elevator in the hotel. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. I was also surprised that a five-star hotel's breakfast could be so bad. The bread was not as good as the ordinary bread bought in the supermarket. In November, the milk and juice were still in ice and not hot. The milk tea was instant and very light. The coffee was sour and unpalatable. There must be something wrong with the beans. There were very few vegetables. I walked around for several times and there was nothing to eat. It was too inconsistent with the hotel's grade. There are not many high-end hotels in Hohhot. It is not easy to have a five-star hotel. I hope that the management can be strengthened and not leave a particularly bad impression on tourists.

I ate there twice recently. The taste is really good and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely find an opportunity to come back for a third time.
