Went to Hong Kong🇭🇰 for a trip My friend took me to Citywalk for a few days I still like this day on Lamma Island Away from the hustle and bustle, very comfortable🥰 Took me to this seafood restaurant for dinner It's right next to the fishing port and has local characteristics It's very atmospheric for taking pictures, so nice We booked a set meal It turns out that group purchases require reservations one day in advance You can make an appointment for the Rainbow Boat to pick up and drop off Lamma Island You can also take a free night tour of Victoria Harbour It's a great deal, right? If you weren't a local guide, you wouldn't know it🥹 Salt and pepper mantis shrimp🦐I was fascinated by this mantis shrimp, it was full of meat in one bite, so satisfying😋 Special fried rice🍚The fried rice is clear and has enough wok flavor Salt and pepper squid🍢Fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, every bite is fragrant 🏠Shop: Rainbow Seafood Restaurant 📍Address: No. 23-27, First Street, Sok Kwu Wan, Lamma Island
The specialty is crayfish and giant prawns. The giant scallops are also very tempting! 2 giant scallops, 1 lobster, 2 salt and pepper giant prawns, 4 giant clams, and a portion of shrimp and corn soup. It tastes great, very delicious!
Lamma Island is a beautiful place. Climbing the mountain was exhausting. It was really comfortable to have a seafood meal. My mother is a vegetarian. We spent more than 600 Hong Kong dollars on food and were not full. But we were satisfied. Everything was very fresh. We recommend mantis shrimp and scallops. Scallops are really fresh. The price is not very friendly. But who says it is famous? There is also a free boat to take you back.
As soon as you get ashore at Lamma Island, you can see the sign of this restaurant. The seafood is very fresh and tastes good. The shrimp is especially good! It is worth a try. The fish is also very tender and fresh. The clams are not good to eat. It feels like they are not cooked! Overall, it is not bad!
This weekend, I finally decided to go to Lamma Island and eat seafood at Rainbow Restaurant and go hiking. We arrived at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal a few minutes late and only saw departures for Sok Su Wan. So, we waited in line for the boat to Kash Wan. After arriving on the island, playing in the water and strolling on the beach, we arrived at Rainbow Restaurant quite late, nearly 3:30 PM. We sat down at the designated table, but waited a long time for the menu. After looking at the menu, we were told to order from the seafood section. The restaurant had expanded, but the service seemed to have fallen behind. We ordered the same four seafood dishes we always order: boiled shrimp, steamed clams, stir-fried clams, and steamed scallops. This time, we didn't ask for any vegetables. As for the service, we waited nearly 20 minutes for the rice. When the bone dish was being replaced, the spoon was knocked over, and when we tried to get the plates, the sauce splashed on both of us. The tea and seasoning fee is now a mandatory fee of 16 yuan per person. After dinner, we caught Rainbow Restaurant's own boat back to Central. The cabin was quite comfortable, and a bit emptier than the public ferry, though a bit more rocky.
