輪住食·推介香港美食The Buddhist temple of Po Lin Zen Temple
Yesterday, I went to Lantau Island with a large group of disabled people to play and eat vegetarian food. This is the only vegetarian restaurant in On Ping Road. We almost packed up half of the restaurant. The organizer booked 6 seats early, which is very few As a vegetarian, I think it's quite delicious. It's good to clear your stomach from time to time. It's $150 per person. The portion of vegetarian per plate is quite large. You can add red-broiled wings and white rice as much as you like!
After dinner, the phone popped up the observatory warning message, saying that a yellow rainstorm and possible hail, making the organizers very scared, said to leave early, you see me around to take pictures know I was not afraid, but want to see Hail is falling! 🤣🤣🤣

The set meal was very large, and all 12 of us were full. In order to avoid waste, we only emptied our plates at the end after assigning tasks. The waiter said to us, "You finished it all, thank you!" The two words "thank you" are very powerful.
I have visited the Big Buddha several times in Lantau Island, but I basically don't eat here because there is really no special delicious food in Ngong Ping Market except the special tofu pudding. Today, after I brought my friend to worship the Big Buddha, my friend happily insisted on visiting Po Lin Monastery. I have been to this temple so many times but I have never been there once. As the saying goes, it is destined that I will open a new food place here this time. Po Lin Monastery vegetarian food. There are various sets of meals to choose from according to the number of people, and the dishes are served very quickly. The service is also very polite. Good, good [fist]
If you want to see the relics of Tian Tan Buddha, you must buy vegetarian food, which is divided into three types: snacks 45 Hong Kong dollars, vegetarian food 110 Hong Kong dollars, and VIP vegetarian food 150 Hong Kong dollars. The dining location is in the vegetarian hall of Po Lin Monastery next to it. I thought the standard vegetarian food of 110 Hong Kong dollars per person should be ok, but it was so bad that it tasted like the group meal of 25 yuan per person in mainland China. No matter how expensive Hong Kong is, it shouldn't be like this, especially the ancient soup, which is simply boiled rotten vegetable leaves. I haven't been deceived for a long time, but I didn't expect to fall into the Buddha's pure land. Everyone be careful!
The snacks at Po Lin Monastery are very famous, all of which are Hong Kong specialties, including bowl cake, carrot cake, tofu pudding, crystal rice noodle, etc. It is a pleasure to taste so many Hong Kong snacks at once.
The set meal is 150 per person, and you cannot choose your own dishes. It costs 450 Hong Kong dollars for 3 people, including 4 dishes and 1 soup, tea and rice. It is filling and tastes good. But at this price, you can only think of it as a good thing. Sit at the stone table and stool at the door and order some snacks. There is no air conditioning, but the price-performance ratio is slightly higher and there are more choices.
