Truluck's Steak & Stone Crab

This restaurant is mainly a Chinese restaurant. If you are not used to it, you can come to this restaurant. The owner is a Cantonese. The rice rolls and sausages sold in it are very good. I recommend everyone to try the rice rolls in this restaurant.

Because we were so tired after a day of shopping, we finally went to Truluck's, which we particularly liked, for dinner. We ordered Stone Crab, Oyster and steak, all of which were super delicious... We also had a glass of Rose Champagne. It has been a long time since I have been so happy just because of enjoying food.

One of the best places for stone crab claws... so good! And the king crab is amazing... There is a large selection of gorgeous fish... and they cook a mean steak if seafood is not to your taste. The lobster mash is to die for and the desserts are yummy... and large!!

I haven't eaten at Trucks for a few years, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has evolved into a high-end restaurant. It can no longer be mistaken as a cheap eat, but the food and service are more than worth the price, which is a great value. The environment is quite exclusive, but not stuffy at all, and the bar is very lively. Recommended!

The food was great, they sell stone crabs but we didn't have them that day. Had the low calorie pepper and sausage shrimp soup. It could have been done without the sausage but it was really good, very thick and smooth and tasty. The Caesar salad was the best salad you can have in Houston, the dressing was just right, with a hint of anchovies but not overwhelming. The snails were also very good. The waitress Elizabeth was excellent, she was young, nice, confident and charming, funny and would joke with us just enough to keep us entertained. This is one of the few restaurants I know of in Houston that also has a piano bar and the pianist was perfect. The only downside was that they used raisins instead of cranberry bread, which was a big mistake.
