修复工程比较大,外立面基本被包裹着,这是一个当地非常传统的地方,去的时候建筑内外都是满满的人,有的女游客没带头巾,门口的人也招呼进去参观。

Yeni Mosque is located at the southern end of the Galata Bridge, on the edge of the Golden Horn, also known as the New Mosque. It's not really "new" though, it's actually over 400 years old. Construction began in 1597, and it went through trials and tribulations, and even stopped, before it was completed in 1663. The design of the mosque is modeled after the Blue Mosque and Suleymaniye Mosque, with a huge vestibule flanked by two towering towers, a beautiful spring in the atrium, and a series of semi-domes surrounding a main dome. Walking into the mosque, you can see the wide dome, decorated with golden leaves, carved marble and colorful Iznik tiles, which is very ornate. This mosque represents the high level of the architecture of the Turkish Empire period and is worth visiting. In addition, there are often a large group of pigeons gathered outside the temple, and cats can also be seen, which makes people feel very comfortable and is also a good place to take pictures.
