The environment is nice and the staff is friendly. However the food was just average in my opinion and a bit expensive considering what we had (lunch cost over $40 per person).

Hachinoki

It is a nice shop with an atmosphere like an old private house renovated in a Japanese garden. A shop selling yak and tan stew. Price is about 3,000 yen. A popular shop.

It is said to be a long-established shop. After reading the book Camellia, I took a special train to Kita-Kamakura to buy tofu sushi. It is a small shop on the left side of the station. The packaging is very tasty. The vinegar rice of tofu sushi is just right, and the tofu is also delicious.
