I just went to visit the building and the security guard was really nice to let me in even though there wasn’t a show.

Istana Budaya is the most important theater in Malasia. It is one of the most sophisticated in the world. Istana Budaya, or "Palace of Arts," serves as Malasia's main venue for cultural events. The building, which can hold more than 1,400 people, was built to resemble the shape of a floating Malay kite. The theater center also has four adjustable stages.
