Food does not know the national boundaries, like the rare Xiaoyao, a glass of sake, a riliao, to satisfy your taste buds. This environment is good, the atmosphere is good, so I like it.

Right inside the Granvia hotel, we found this restaurant to be a real food heaven. We went twice for a (different) tasting dinner and both times we were impressed with the quality and preparation of the food and the attentive service. Value for money indeed, if you like fine dining !
I ordered one halal bento box from ukihashi however the taste of the rice was awful though it looked flavourful due to its color from the photo...A plain soup was served with the bento box. I didn't see the speciality of this soup as a Japanese cuisine because it tasted just like a bowl of water boiled with minced carrots and potatoes. The rest of the bento dishes just gave me a feeling of how insincerely they cooked their self claimed traditional Japanese ryori and sold at such price. I would rather choose to have some authentic taste of Japanese meal from restaurants like Manshige which provides good taste at a much reasonable price. Regarding of the service, I was told verbally by the server that "for bento box only green tea" after she served others who ordered kaiseki course with green tea and desert...I'm not sure if it was necessary for her to emphasize green tea ONLY for people who ordered just bento box.
