Located on Talad Gao Road (also called Old Market Road, there will be night markets every Saturday and Sunday). The owner was a translator who loved craftsmanship, but had to give up his hobby because of his career. It was not until 20 years later that the elderly returned to his beloved handicraft with the encouragement of his younger son. Now he has become the founder of the leather brand Papacraft. His works have been exhibited at the Korea International Handicraft Exhibition in 2019 (so courageous 🥹) There are many leather products in the store. Ceramics, rope products, fabrics, balm and other handmade products are sold, and you can also come to the backyard through the store. Here you can sit quietly and taste coffee, and you can watch the craftsmen in the handicrafts workshop through the window. Really interesting! The building was indeed built in 1908 by Burmese teak merchants and is said to have been the main store selling Western-style goods to employees in Nanbang of BBTC, the most famous teak logging company in the UK. Today it is a collection of galleries and coffee buildings, known as one of the most beautiful buildings in Thailand. Like Papacraft, it is located on Talad Gao Road. The building is very distinctive. There are two floors in total (the second floor cannot be up when I go) and it is different from Thai architecture and is mixed with Myanmar architecture.
