The Guanyin Lotus Garden, also known as the Guanyin Statue by local residents, is one of the works of the Sino-Portuguese Friendship Memorial Series. It is located on the artificial island off Sun Yat-sen Avenue. The Guanyin Lotus Garden was cast by Chenguang Group Company, and then 47 pieces were embedded in the current site. The lotus seat of Guanyin Lotus Garden is divided into two floors. The first floor is the viewing room, and there is a reception desk and a souvenir sales department, which sells books, picture albums and souvenirs published by the Cultural Affairs Bureau; the lower floor is a multi-functional exhibition hall and a small library; The library has a multimedia resource center and two computers that provide Internet access. There are more than 600 volumes of various religious books, including books in multiple languages, as well as other CDs, audio and video tapes related to religious culture. The multi-functional exhibition hall can accommodate fifty people and is suitable for small events.
