I chose a cheap izakaya in Shibuya that is very good. I went there for the fried whitebait, but it was sold out, so I ate sea bream directly from Kochi and ordered a pot of sea bream stewed rice.
With sea bream, fish soup, and a pinch of shredded ginger, I was able to stew a small pot of very delicious rice. As soon as I opened the lid, the aroma of rice and the freshness of sea bream took my soul away.
The restaurant has Kochi&#39;s specialty - grilled bonito. Light the straw and grill the bonito quickly over a high fire. The fish skin is charred black, but the fish meat is still tender. It is fragrant and thick when eaten with ginger, garlic, and sauce. The restaurant actually burns straw, and the small flame is more than one meter high. As soon as I enter the house, I smell the smell of a country stove, and the smell of straw ash is very familiar and friendly.
But the best thing is fried food. The fried steak in the restaurant is very famous, but it was sold out if I went too late. We ordered a fried bacon, which was as thick as a pork chop, with a soft smoky flavor and a balanced fat and lean. The crispy shell was fried well, crispy, thick, and crunchy when chewed, and it was particularly fragrant. I haven&#39;t eaten such delicious fried food in a long time.
The sashimi in the store is very fresh and cheap. The 1,000 yen three-piece set is particularly thick. In addition to Kochi, they also deliver fresh fish directly from different production areas every day. When you enter the door, you will be given a large piece of paper with the fresh goods that have been received today. (It is also the only menu, and other dishes are posted on the ceiling.) It is difficult for tourists to order, so I suggest you just follow my picture.
There is also the signature bonito egg mashed potato. A pickled soft-boiled egg is placed on the tightly pressed mashed potato. Use a wooden spoon to poke the egg and mix it into the mashed potato. It is salty! The umami flavor of bonito is particularly strong and it is quite delicious.
The final bill for two people was 5000 yen,... considering I&#39;ve been so poor lately, it&#39;s depreciated to 1000 yen, so this is a relatively extravagant meal recently! !

Cafe Jiro

The oyster hut has a lot of oysters and the location is convenient. Food recommendations: 3 oysters for NT$500, very fresh and clean. The seafood platter for NT$2,200 includes steamed oysters with wine and pickled oysters. Finally, because the grilled prawns were so delicious, I added two more for NT$400 each. Whether it&#39;s raw or cooked, it tastes good and fresh.
