We were very excited to eat at Itta Bena while in Memphis. We found the &quot;hidden&quot; staircase that takes you up to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is lovely. We had a table by the window and loved overlooking the people walking on the street below. Our server was very nice and the live music was a wonderful touch. The only problem was the food was disappointing. I had the salmon which was fair at best. My husband had the shrimp and grits and he said he has had much better. We will not be going back. Our bill was over $100 and the meal was not worth it at all. The atmosphere is worth it but the most important thing is the food itself.

Very good cheese. Duck meat is also delicious, the weight is enough, the tube is full. The place is easy to find, the food is delicious, the price is reasonable. I ordered a duck meat, which is very appetizing. My friend ordered raw beef, he felt delicious. Their cheese is a specialty. The owner is friendly.
