We visited here a few times in our visit to Memphis. It was a good experience.  Genuine,  friendly service and good good.  Reasonable prices and an authentic American bar.

This was recommended by the bar tenders at the 5 star Peabody, so we had to try it out..  It is a great burger joint.. food was really tasty and great value for money.  The bar felt like it had been there for generations and treats everyone really well.  For budget food, it is great,  go eat there

Good food.. Great value

One night we tried to go inside but it was too busy due to the basketball.   The following evening we tried again and it was much quieter. We decided to sit at the bar as we were planning on having drinks only - they do selected drinks 241, some drafts and house spirit’s. After being sat down for a while we decided on some food as the prices are reasonable. My wife and I both bbq melt burger, it was really tasty.

Great food and drink

Our server was great and our spinach salad was very good. The chicken kabobs were dry and the pineapple had way too much salty teriyaki sauce. Usually get this dish but this time not good.

Nice hamburger restaurant, reasonably priced.  The burger was great.  Very friendly and attentive staff.  Tried fried pickles for the first time in my life and liked them a lot!

Very good cheese. The duck is also delicious, the portion is large and filling.
The place is easy to find, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I ordered a dish with duck, which was very appetizing. My friend ordered raw beef, which he thought was delicious. Their cheese is a specialty. The owner is friendly.

Interesting place, good environment, great dishes, and the service industry is quite good. Very good.

Huey's Downtown

While in Memphis, we were very excited to eat at Itabena. We found the &quot;hidden&quot; staircase to take you to the restaurant. The restaurant itself was lovely. We had a window table that loved looking down on the street below. Our server was very good and live music was a wonderful touch. The only problem was the food was disappointing. I had salmon, preferably fair. My husband had shrimp and gravel and he said he was much better. We wouldn&rsquo;t go back. Our bill was over $100 and the meal was not worth it at all. The atmosphere was valuable, but the food itself was the most important thing.
