Gibbys

Last time I came to Gibbys and ordered Beef Wellington, the waiter heard it as medium well and the meat was very hard and unpalatable. This time I asked him to order it again and try it again, but it still tasted bad [sad face] However, Gibbys' salad was ok and the lamb chops were good as always. ​

This western restaurant is located in the Old Town of Montreal, which is the city center, close to the city hall. It is decorated in an antique style. I ordered some simple snacks such as wide cream noodles, which tasted very good.

The service was great and the food was excellent. If you are not a big eater; I would recommend sharing a dish. My friend and I both had the steak and we couldn't finish it, we should have ordered one to share. If you are planning a visit to Montreal and want to go to Gibby's, I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a week (7 days) in advance; they book up quickly.

Service was amazing: servant, master, waiter - awesome, can't say it!! The attention to detail was impeccable and the food was very, very good. We had black pepper steak, lamb chops, salmon, and philippine rhino grass. Everything was done perfectly. We all had cocktails before the meal and our main course was served with a bottle of wine. The staff brought us a beautiful cake to celebrate our special moment (very delicious)...even the coffee afterwards was perfect. The main course has bread, pickles, salads and vegetables (unlike most steakhouses in the United States). Everyone thinks the price here is very, very reasonable. Incredible experience.

Montreal has a well-known seafood restaurant called Gibbys, the per capita price is about 50 knives, the price is good. The big lobster here is particularly delicious, my favorite, the steak is fried more tender, and there is blood.

Gibbys, a time-honored seafood restaurant, the oysters here are one of the freshest and delicious oysters I have ever eaten. The taste is very tender and juicy, and it can be said that the food is very enjoyable.
