Excellent views and the food was amazing. Don&#39;t be discouraged that it&#39;s technically at a rehabilitation hospital, it&#39;s totally worth it if you&#39;re in the area

Getting there was tricky, but once you get to your table the view is breathtaking. Excellent food and very good service. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Great food and service in a beautiful spot overlooking Montreaux and the lake. Do understand it is a little remote and it is in a recovery center.

Food was good but if youre not a patient this is a depressing place to eat...we also ate basically alone in a brightly lit room...not even the slightest bit romantic

Even though Montreaux is one of the most expensive cities we have ever visited anywhere in the world, our dinner at Chez John is HANDS DOWN the best dining value anywhere. There are plenty of reasons why the ratings for this restaurant are so consistently high. For us&hellip;the two big standouts were the quality of the cuts of beef we ordered, and surprisingly (for us) the bottle of John&rsquo;s &ldquo;Red&rdquo; we consumed with our meal. We stayed at the Fairmont which is known for great service. The food&hellip;not so much. We ate at other top rated choices like &ldquo;Why Montreaux?&rdquo; And realized the name of the restaurant might be ironic. It&rsquo;s not that the food there was bad&hellip;it just made us miss the food and experience at Chez John a short walk away. We really enjoyed the quality of the food and the gracious attention of our hosts. Don&rsquo;t skip this one.

If you go to an Irish Pub on a Friday night&hellip; It&rsquo;s going to be busy.  Especially, when the Irish Stew is authentic.  I felt like I was back in my Sainted Grandmother&rsquo;s kitchen.  Thanks for the wonderful food, and sparking my memory back to my childhood.🍀

Of course the view, with the sunset, was amazing.  That alone would have been sufficient for a good rating.  However, the food and the service were also excellent.

We were 12 to celebrate our Dad&rsquo;s birthday. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. They even printed special personalized menus for our table. Great family moment.
