Super place. A proper traditional completely family-run restaurant. All of the fish is fresh and most of it local. Excellent wine too! Definitely worth a return trip.

This is a family business. The staff is very friendly. The landlord gives good advice. The fish and seafood is very fresh. The prices are correct.

Yesterday we visited the restaurant for the second time and it was fabulous.Esteban is a great host and makes you feel at home. The food was again fresh and cooked very well. So we had a very pleasent evening for our 40th wedding anniversary. Totally recommended

Very kind staff. fresh products and pleasant ambience. Prices are reasonable and the amount of food is good. Mainly fish dishes all fresh from local fisherman.The owner treats the customers like family. We will come again.

Our experience at La Ballena Azul was excellent. We were greeted by Stephan who explained us about the family restaurant, his wife who was in the kitchen and the menu filled only with the freshest and purest of ingredients. He helped us pick a great Rosé from Granada that paired extremely well with our (amazing) tuna steak. He surprised us with a free extra starter and a liqueur and limoncello from the region. All in all, incredible service, delicious fresh and pure food and all for a great price. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area and I completely understand why it is the #1 restaurant in the region. Thanks again La Ballena Azul. We had a wonderful time!
