Tie Ge Bi ( Yue Hu Sheng Yuan )

Before coming to Ningbo, I specifically looked up local food and saw that Tiegebi is a large restaurant chain, so I went there to order food when I arrived in Ningbo. There are many Ningbo people in Shanghai, so the term "tiegebi" sounds very familiar. Fortunately, I booked a seat in advance. The restaurant is quite large, the main price is very affordable, and the taste is also good. Ningbo glutinous rice balls and stir-fried clams are really delicious.

My god, my friend at the same table ate two pots of pickled crab by himself. I am already a fake Ningbo native, I can't appreciate these raw seafood at all, but the decoration and dishes of this restaurant are actually quite good, and they are more refined Ningbo dishes.

Great value for money! A portion of clams costs only 19 yuan, I ate it all by myself, and I was basically full after eating it. It's delicious! Fresh! I took a sneak peek and saw that most other people would order this dish. The grandma's egg stew is also delicious and tender, but unfortunately I ate too many clams and only ate half. I don't really like the yellow croaker wrapped in bean curd skin, I think it's a bit greasy when fried, and it's also greasy when dipped in vinegar... So the same goes for Mingfu hairtail. I will eat here again next time I come to Ningbo.

I read the guide before going to Ningbo and found this restaurant. It is a few minutes walk from Ningbo Airport to Chenghuang Temple Station on Metro Line 2. The crab fried with rice cake is a big portion. The crab is a bit thin, and there are a lot of rice cakes, enough for 2 people. Qiantong tofu fried vermicelli, light and delicious. Fermented rice balls, my favorite flavor.
