This family owned restaurant made our first night in Palermo perfect. The food is delicious as well as atmosphere and wine!
Everything was excellent, from the amuse bouche to the dessert. The space is smart and unpretentious. We started with an eggplant filled ravioli with tomato sauce and taglietelle in butter with anchovy, and then had mackerel in gazpacho and beef cheek with mashed potatoes. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and elegantly prepared. Desserts were also lovely - a sponge with mango sauce and ice cream, and a perfect panna cotta. If you are looking for a beautiful experience all around, go here.
Lovely food in a charming setting with excellent service. The menu is innovative without being fussy. With a fork discount, this was very good value.
Very nice and cozy spot in Palermo if you’re looking for good sicilian food. The menu accomodates even the most pretentious eaters, from traditional sicilian dishes to more exquisite options. Food was great, portions genrous enough, we even recieved a nice little apperitif from the chef itself. Hosting was amazing, very attendive, we got reccomended a very good sicilian white wine and they also made bellini for us (from scratch) which was a really nice gesture considering they didn’t have it on the menu. Also the layered millefoglie cannolo was fantastic, really well thought. We HIGHLY reccomend it!!! Grazie!!
We began our meal with a selection of appetizers that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness. The octopus, grilled to perfection, was a true standout, with the perfect balance of tenderness and a slight char that enhanced the natural sweetness of the seafood. The oysters, plump and briny, were a delightful start, while the tuna tartare was a masterful blend of flavors, with the freshness of the fish complemented by the subtle seasonings.Feeling satisfied but not overly full from the appetizers, we decided to order one main course, which the staff kindly offered to split into two servings, ensuring that we could both enjoy the dish to the fullest. This thoughtful gesture was a testament to the attentive and customer-oriented service that permeated the entire dining experience. The main course, a regional specialty, was a true revelation. The flavors and textures were a harmonious symphony, each element perfectly executed to create a dish
