Nice place in a buzzy area. We had tasty oysters, big salad, and a cutting board of local meats and cheeses washed down with a crisp white recommended by our FABULOUS server.

Aperitif a bit poor and not very tasty that can be easily improved.
The history of the place and the service as extreme care of the customer, however, did the rest!

The location, service, and food is top notch. They truly go out of their way to please you.  We ordered the steak, the millefoglie of eggplant and grilled vegetable&#39;s. All were beautifully presented and delicious. We had a glass of  Nero d&rsquo;avola and Grillo which complemented both entree&rsquo;s. We had a martini and their house special spritz which were made very well and attractive to boot! The interior of the restaurant is an interesting space with a soft green palate. I would have preferred having dinner outside, in the giardino, but they don&#39;t serve dinner outside; just cocktails. I heartily recommend and will eat here again when in Palermo

Food was authentic. Delicious dishes. Pasta with mussels was spectacular. Definitely get the eggplant caponata. Made reservation for 7:30 and got there a few minutes early. They took us right away. Only issue was I had to ask for bread. Then plates then oil. But they got it for us immediately

One of the best meals we had in Palermo. The tartare was very nicely done and presented. The paccheri was a stunner&hellip;..and the pinse tuna was stupendous. The service was both pleasant and professional. Overall a great experience and one which we will repeat. Thank you .

When eating in Palermo during the off-season, be prepared. There may be only one table of people eating from beginning to end. The waiter is quite enthusiastic when taking orders and serving dishes, but the rest of the time is basically chatting with each other. Italian restaurants will always provide a bottle of sparkling water as a drink.

I would definitely recommend Lumia Restaurant if you are looking for an intimate place, with amazing food and great service. We celebrated my partner&rsquo;s birthday there and everything was perfect !

In the off-season, you must be mentally prepared. You may have a table of people to eat from beginning to end. The waiter is very enthusiastic when ordering food. Other times are basically talking about each other. The Italian restaurant will come with a bottle of bubble water as a drink.

Both service and food were great . It was one of the best meals we had in Sicily . We had Crudo di mare , pasta with zuccini ( exceptional!) and amberjack .
