Kamala Beach is located 6 km north of Patong Beach, south of Surin Beach and about a 10-minute drive from Patong Beach. If Patong Beach appeals to people who go for its drinking, Muay Thai fights and nightlife, then it can be said Kamala Beach is the perfect choice for visitors who prefer a clean, quiet and peaceful experience. The beach is one of the few beaches on the island that has preserved its authentic fishing-village appearance. The east side of the beach is home to Phuket FantaSea, a cultural nighttime theme park, which is a great destination for friends and family.
