Food was good but a bit oily. Staff a bit all over the place and no flow to ordering at the counter. Seemed all a little unorganised. Ambience was OK but would have been better with some music.

Great pub in a good location. Food was average and not many tables within the pub but this allowed us to sit where we wanted rather than at a specific table which was good.
The menu was not as good as other ALH venues but the location was great. The night we went, the oven was not working so we can't have the salmon that we wanted. The burger was great, the calamari was also good. The service we received from our waitress was excellent. The chef could have been nicer to my partner when he went to the kitchen window to ask for tomato sauce. One small takeaway container of tomato sauce was not enough for our party of 5 so my partner asked for more. The chef squirted tomato sauce in a rectangular TIN CONTAINER and not a more presentable ceramic bowl or serving dish. How weird was that..... Was the chef cranky ???
Dining room was in main area with bar so was quite loud. Was average food for a pub.
