The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were courteous and attentive and the ambiance conducive to an enjoyable dining experience.

We have eaten at Chez Brume three times and have never been disappointed. The food, atmosphere and staff are all excellent; it is one of our favorite restaurants in this area.

We had a fantastic linch! Food was very creative, fresh! Nice selection of wins. Attenduous and even English speaking service! Bravo!!! Strongly recommend for everyone who love good food!

Food was pretty good, good ingredients rather than sophisticated cooking. One thing I don&#39;t understand, which is that this is the only French restaurant I have eaten (out of more than 10 in last few years - I am neither French nor live in France but do visit) where you really need to explicitly demand bread. Elsewhere in France it is kind of automatic but not here.

The food was very nice indeed. I&#39;ve specially enjoyed my dessert of a choux bun with a black tea sorbet. Very unusualUnfortunately they sat us at the back which was dark and near the service desk / spare tables, maybe because we were English? ????

This is an amazing restaurant. Each course of our dinner menu was an adventure in new flavor combinations and textures. The dessert was imaginative and like nothing we had ever tasted. The service was excellent and the wine pairings were inspired.

For my first try at The Fork, everything went well. We chose the &quot;Italia&quot; pizza with prawns and scallops flamb&eacute;ed with whisky. It was delicious. The prawns were already peeled, which means you don&#39;t get your fingers dirty. Slight disappointment with the scallops, which I think were scallops. But given the price of the pizza and its flavor, we don&#39;t blame them, it was very, very good. A tiramisu for dessert, also very good. We&#39;ll be back.

Limited menu, but the clever chef managed to marry some strong flavours without overpowering the dishes. Quantities were just right for us. Very enjoyable and pleasantly different meals

Chez Brume

Great place in the nice city of Rennes. Boasting an open kitchen, the restaurant&rsquo;s focus is meat but fish is also on the list (octopus and dorada). We had a burger from Rennes and one of duck  (both delicious) while the one of us had a very convenient formule (a set menu) featuring truffle rice balls, pork and caramel mousse. Also nice service.

Originally made a reservation for Monday evening taking advantage of the fork&#39;s &quot;more yums&quot; promotion. On Monday morning this reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. The Fork offered me a compensation of 100 yums instead of the 1000 in the promotion.As I still wanted to try this restaurant I made another reservation for Tuesday evening. The restaurant and staff were fine and friendly but the food was lousy. The vegetable beignets were the best but the mustard was too strongly flavoured. The calamares had been cooked toooo long making them too soft with no flavour and the cheesecake was almost tasteless
