We followed the advice of our hosts and found Les Garcons. The menu was creative with interesting taste combinations. If we were staying in Rennes a little longer, we&#39;d be back for another meal!

En plein cœur du vieux quartier de Rennes. Très bon accueil ! Les plats étaient bien cuisinés et savoureux. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée.

C’était une première pour nous et on a adoré: le service (resto convivial), mais aussi (et surtout) l’assiette. Une belle cuisine travaillée et raffinée à un prix très abordable

nourriture très moyenne et cher pour ce que c&apos;est. les légumes ne sont pas de saison (courgettes en hiver) et n&apos;ont pas de gout. très déçue.

Accueil exécrable !!! Le serveur nous a reçu sans aucun sourire, n’a pas répondu à notre bonjour. Nous a installé et déposé l’ardoise puis a disparu 10mn. Puis au moment de prendre la commande, un de nous a osé énoncé son plat alors que ce n’était pas son tour. Il lui a crié dessus en lui disant ce n’est pas à vous que je parle !!! Puis voyant que nous étions étonné de son comportement nous a dit que si nous n’étions pas contents de bien vouloir « circuler » !!! Monsieur le serveur, laissez donc vos problèmes chez vous et apprenez à accueillir les clients. Nous sommes installés maintenant très près de votre restaurant où nous venons de recevoir  un très bon accueil…

Passez votre chemin si vous ne voulez pas vous faire éconduire à peine installés…

Home exquisite !!! The server received us without a smile, did not answer our hello. We installed and filed the ardose and then disappeared 10mn. Then when we took the order, one of us dareed to set his dish when it was not his turn. He cried to him saying that I'm not talking to you !!! Then seeing that we were surprised by his behavior told us that if we weren't happy to "circulate" !!! Monsieur le serveur, laissez donc vos problèmes chez vous et apprenez à accueillir les clients. We are now very close to your restaurant where we just received a very good welcome...

You can take your way if you don't want to get you just installed...

Endroit très sympas et serveur très agréable. Très bon dîner, la viande est excellente et la cuisson également ! Un régal, nous reviendrons !

Excellent pea veloute and beef bourguignon. Relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Rennes.

Dishes were too complicated. They were interesting but didn&#39;t taste so good all together. The service was very nice.

The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were courteous and attentive and the ambiance conducive to an enjoyable dining experience.

Limited menu, but the clever chef managed to marry some strong flavours without overpowering the dishes. Quantities were just right for us. Very enjoyable and pleasantly different meals

Everything about this restaurant is great-the  music selection, decor, service, prices, and the food is wonderful! This has been our best dining experience in Rennes.

Great place with options for both the teenagers and adults in our group. Food during all three courses was well prepared and delicious. Would happily return.

Great place in the nice city of Rennes. Boasting an open kitchen, the restaurant&rsquo;s focus is meat but fish is also on the list (octopus and dorada). We had a burger from Rennes and one of duck  (both delicious) while the one of us had a very convenient formule (a set menu) featuring truffle rice balls, pork and caramel mousse. Also nice service.
